Karate for weight loss

Karate training typically involves both aerobic and anerobic exercise.  Karate works muscles not often used and helps remarkably to increase an individual’s flexibility.  And the cardio vascular benefits of karate training can be astounding.     Now when all these factors are combined, a one or one and a half hour karate training session can have amazing effects on the body, and if this training is continued regularly, say twice a week, a number of things can happen.  Following our regime, a young man may acquire muscle mass, a muscular man may find himself getting more flexibile.  An overweight person will first notice a loss in weight, and then in size.   Peoples’ bodies react differently, as do men and women’s but, as we’re all constantly told, we must exercise, and karate training combines so many elements that everyone can benefit in one form or another. Because martial art training is typically high intensity it burns a maximum number of kilojoules or calories per workout and is therefore great for anyone who wants to lose weight and lose it fast.
